@davidpatrick @bexxi Thanks!
@rstein It probably doesn’t work quite so well as a radio show!
Okay, apparently I didn’t make a terrible decision; the latest QuickTime Pro can still successfully create video from a sequence of stills.
Well, if Flickr had _told_ me they were going to de-widescreen my video automatically, I wouldn’t have made it widescreen in the first place
@spamvictim iTunes 8 crashed twice already? Maybe I’ll avoid downloading it for a while. Maybe until my MacBook’s back from repair…
@Phooto Just been told that they won’t be sending stuff all the way around for a week or two, anyway, so you’ve got some breathing space…
PS: Anyone interested in the LHC who hasn’t heard/seen the Large Hadron Rap should do so right now http://tinyurl.com/5by22l
@davidpatrick Sometimes they’ll do a staged release. Sometimes they’ll pull a release if they realise it was very broken…
So, there’s a Front Row update for “improved iTunes 8.0 compatibility”, but no iTunes 8.0? Feels like Apple are hurriedly fixing bugs…
Just pasted together all the stills from this morning’s photo shoot into a 15-second video http://tinyurl.com/5b6wgr
@johnfbraun No, but a Quicktime update is. Perplexing timing, as I was just about to use QT Pro to make a video. Hmm.
@Ihnatko Yeah, but you’re just a tindersnarking cat-in-the-hole, aren’t you?
Oh, bloody hell, how do you edit a bookmark in the new delicious.com? Didn’t there used to be an “edit” button?
The most world-changing idea to come out of CERN so is the World Wide Web, rather than any physics. Of course, that might change tomorrow :)
@Dr_of_Love following the failed first strike codenamed ‘Microsoft progress bars’?
@Delicious Thanks! I evenutally figured it out; seemed odd to have to find something a different way to change it when I’d already found it!
@foxc Clearly they’re hunting down whoever’s playing Shania Twain :)
@debbieweil Don’t worry, it’s just that they have to fix the bugs in @googlechrome before they release the Mac version :)
My bloody MacBook has cracked again. Come on, Apple, stop redesigning the iPods and get the quality control on your plastic sorted out!
