I am catching up with _The Fades_. Seems appropriate for this evening.

@rabidbee (Incidentally, did you know there was a handy test page? I found out last time it was borked. flickr.com/help/test )

via Echofon in reply to rabidbee

Hrm. I appear to be having problems with some of the Flickr farms. *prods network with a stick*

Bah. Ordered an Experience Seminars DVD to go with my new 60D. What just arrived? The 600D version of the DVD.

@stillawake @r0bb1eh I shall put St. Nick’s on my “visit soon” list. Had Moroccan lamb last time I was there & it was lovely.

via Echofon in reply to stillawake

@matt_fwyalchen Fairly sure you only need to buy one pitchfork to set up a gag that’s funny over and over again.

via Echofon in reply to matt_fwyalchen

@jennifermjones Are you allowed eight baby elephants and a lycra bag?

via Tweetbot for iOS in reply to jennifermjones

It’s good being absent-minded sometimes. Album I bought ages ago and forgot about just cycled round in shuffle and is fab.

via Tweetbot for iOS

@Mouse_House Ah, yes, I should’ve noticed that your sky was actually blue! I was there a couple of hours ago.

via Tweetbot for iOS in reply to mousedogbaby

At some point this week I shall do today’s route at lunchtime again but go to this at Spike Island (it’s closed today.) lockerz.com/s/152003576

via Tweetbot for iOS

@Mouse_House Ooh! Did you see me there? We must’ve been pretty close in time and space. Except for me being in a world of my own, usually ;)

@KaveyF @ahnlak Yes, but I’m specifically walking into town to get some exercise!

via Tweetbot for iOS in reply to Kavey

@KaveyF @ahnlak Well, *I’m* not. Because it’ll take me a half hour to walk into town…

via Tweetbot for iOS in reply to Kavey

Wandering out for a walk and to find lunch somewhere in town.

via Tweetbot for iOS

@scottejames …what suits me generally wouldn’t be great for other people.

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

@scottejames Because I mainly use compacts when out jogging, I tend to really compromise on features for size & lightness, so…

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

@scottejames Sorry, know very little about compacts. Can’t really say more than that I’ve heard good things about Canon Powershots.

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

@scottejames Oooh, it does, doesn’t it? That’s basically a Galaxy S iPod Touch, isn’t it? (Awaits replies from spambots…)

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

@scottejames (Because, e.g., the S2 is £500, which is quite a lot for something I probably wouldn’t use as a phone.)

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

@scottejames …is there something like the iPod Touch for Android?

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

@scottejames Thing is, what I think I want for Android is a cheap good thing, which probably means “not a phone”…

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

@lukejonesme Oh, yeah. See what you mean. Never mind, I didn’t need money anyway.

via Echofon

@scottejames I will use a real device at some point. But have no idea what to buy (apart from Kindle Fire, but that won’t be running 4.0)

via Echofon in reply to scottejames

Ah. Yes, trying to rip a DVD at the same time as firing up the Android emulator. That would bring a machine to its knees, yes.

via Echofon

@Mouse_House Yes. If I actually had an income at the moment, I’d be a lot more tempted…

via Echofon in reply to mousedogbaby

@Mouse_House I have done it, once. I think, though, I’m mostly tempted because then I could do it instead of the stuff I *should* be doing.

via Echofon in reply to mousedogbaby

@O2 Thanks, I know. That’s where I found out you didn’t have any in about a 100-mile radius of me.

via Echofon in reply to O2

@ahnlak Thing is, I *shouldn’t* have any extra time on my hands. Not if I’m actually working properly.

via Echofon in reply to ahnlak

Even though it would be a very foolish idea for my sanity and productivity, I’m still feeling a mild pull towards doing NaNoWriMo.

via Echofon

bexxi Oh, it seems it’s - that means the wurst is yet to come, right?

via TweetDeck (retweeted on 10:36 AM, Oct 31st, 2011 via Echofon)

Ah. So, not going to be upgrading to the 4S with @O2, at least not in the near future. Looks like they don’t have any.

via Echofon

Heh. Basic Instructions: How to Figure Out “Who’s That For?”. basicinstructions.net/basic-instruct…

via Echofon

@AndyCarolan Hope it goes better than my update did. Lost all my settings and had to painfully re-key stuff in :(

via Echofon in reply to AndyCarolan

@twittl3s Oooh! Oooh! Where’s it on?

via Echofon in reply to twittl3s

@Narshada Yup. Was on their beta mailing list, but sadly can’t really justify buying one now I’ve not got a job!

via Echofon in reply to Narshada

@Narshada Basically, somewhere between compact and DSLR. Smaller, no mirror/prism, but still interchangeable lenses, good sensors + control.

via Echofon in reply to Narshada

@Narshada In a year or so, there’ll be a lot of damn fine mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera around, too.

via Echofon in reply to Narshada

@Narshada Yup. But I’m still not giving up my 60D :D

via Echofon in reply to Narshada

@Narshada Oh, yeah, sure there’s lots of other pluses. I just mean that the camera and the speed would be worth the money on their own.

via Echofon in reply to Narshada

@Narshada Yes. Think just the camera and extra speed would sell it for me. Only downside I can see is that the 4/4S seem more fragile than 3

via Echofon in reply to Narshada

@teacherdude Terrifying, isn’t it? Happened to me last year. And the Sun, with the same photo! Double whammy!

via Echofon in reply to teacherdude

@Narshada Think it’s going to have to be a new contract. Will give O2 a bell tomorrow and see what they’ll offer me.

via Echofon in reply to Narshada

@Narshada I’ve a 3GS, now out of contract, which is why I might actually be able to afford the upgrade ;)

via Tweetbot for iOS in reply to Narshada

@Narshada Ta. Just grabbed it, as hopefully will be upgrading to 4S quite soon.

via Tweetbot for iOS in reply to Narshada

@bexxi I have found it, thank goodness. Oddly, it was hiding under a mouse mat.
