@Harkaway They’re unplugging UK Twitter from the EU connection. From midnight you won’t be able to use accented characters or smiling emoji.

@ahnlak …whereas GitHub clearly aren’t going anywhere, and $7/month seems reasonable for unlimited private repositories.

@ahnlak I considered Bitbucket, but moving to someone else’s free plan because my current plan suddenly became un-free seemed fate-tempting!

@ahnlak Nothing Bad, but Fog Creek are starting to charge $20/m for the previously-free Kiln tier. Too pricey for moi. Heading Githubwards.
