I’m also getting better at DIY. Remembered to put the earplugs in before drilling, too—hammer drilling into walls from 1763 is LOUD.

@ahnlak Being built by BMW, the whole thing seems entirely solid even without the screw.
@ahnlak …I got as far as unscrewing the Torx that held in the buttons, and it started working again.

Bonus. Just did that thing where you take something apart to see if you can fix it, and the act of taking it apart fixes it.
