@liveindetail You could always sell the Canon gear, the Fuji gear, and your house, and go Leica?

@liveindetail Would you be better off with the X100? Fixed lens, but it sounds like you might get on with rangefindery optical viewfinder?

via Echofon in reply to liveindetail

@nja “…but that’s not important right now”?

via Echofon in reply to nja

@liveindetail Well, indeed. The performance on the 6D sensor makes up for it. Though if you really like IS, there’s always the Tamron.

via Echofon in reply to liveindetail

@liveindetail Yeah, that’s why I made my credit card cry by getting the f/2.8 24-70 ii. Needed to make sure I didn’t miss the 17-55 :D

via Echofon in reply to liveindetail

@liveindetail I just had that with the Canon, mind. That 17-55 EF-S is arse-backwards compared to the 24-70 L.

@liveindetail (I’m selling my 60D + crop sensor lenses to a friend soon, so may have money at some point…)

via Echofon in reply to liveindetail

@liveindetail Well, if you do want to sell, let me know. Especially if you’ve got the 52mm f/1.2 :D

via Echofon in reply to liveindetail

@liveindetail I have that with the Canon, though :D (I just made the big (frame) step up to a 6D…

via Echofon in reply to liveindetail

@liveindetail Interesting. Played with one a bit in a shop, and it felt really good, but of course I didn’t really *use* it.

via Echofon in reply to liveindetail

@liveindetail Oooh. I’m thinking of getting one (the X-T1, not the odd looking contraption.)

No, *you’re* sitting there vainly refreshing a webpage :D pic.twitter.com/NJ7wxGHe5g

Great film, that.

@davemurdock @irace Couldn’t comment on iOS; I only have an iPhone (5) so I don’t tend to do my reading there!

@davemurdock @irace I’ve certainly had to force it, days after an update to the Swift book has been out.

via Echofon in reply to davemurdock

@irace @davemurdock I think it’s *meant* to be. The thing just doesn’t work all that well.

via Echofon in reply to irace

@davemurdock @irace I only use iBooks for the Swift book. Wish they’d just release a bloody PDF. (Because OS X Kindle app is also awful…)

via Echofon in reply to davemurdock

@davemurdock @irace Oh, for Christ’s sake. This works: russellfinn.com/2014/06/17/upd… (The book *content* updates okay, but covers are cached.)

via Echofon in reply to davemurdock

@irace On OS X the only way I’ve found is to delete a book and re-download it.

@domwakeling That’s ‘cause I was re-using a self-portrait I did just after I finished watching Breaking Bad :D flickr.com/photos/matt_gi…

@andybeebristol I pushed the button on direct print on aluminium last night. Figured I’d try something new…

On the plus side, it’s a great day for photo processing, which basically involves being indoors with not a lot of light coming in.
