@bexxi Awww!
@hayles Goodness, yes. Especially when it’s only sunny during office hours :(
@hayles On the other hand, I seem to remember it going badly for Calvin and Hobbes.
@hayles A good rule of thumb in many situations, I find.
I do love the Boagworld podcast. I’m not that into web design, I just like hearing @marcus67 and Paul teasing each other.

Today is “bring a teddy bear to work” day, apparently. I know mine’s not technically a bear, but he is cute. http://twitpic.com/lpni0
@bertpalmer It’s part of our fundraising for a neonatal care unit http://bit.ly/1yfhve http://bit.ly/2FBGWc
@bertpalmer plus, it’s silly. And that’s all the reason I need.
Just had lovely meal at Thai Edge. Heading home for kip.
God, how I hate doing anything at all with Oracle client software. It’s always so tragically *hard*.
Hmm. Wish Radioshift wasn’t quite so pricey.
Glad I brought a teddy in today. Everyone needs a hug when trying to get Oracle ODBC drivers to work. *sigh*
After four hours, have succeeded in copying a table from one DB to another. Considering just typing all the data in again for the next one.
@mhoulden The data transfer took about a millisecond. It was getting the Oracle ODBC driver working with SSIS that took 4 hours…
@mhoulden Also have three different Oracle clients and have three different versions of SQL Server. Not confused at all.
Going to Thai Edge tonight. Yum!
