@PrisRosen That is probably the most appropriate “holy crap” anyone’s ever said to me.
@PrisRosen But really, when it comes to religious web design, things could be worse. http://dokimos.org/ajff/
@PrisRosen There are sixteen errors and 30 warnings in their HTML. Someone’s going to hell.
@PrisRosen That’s a really cool “Creative Christ Commons” license at the end there.
@talkie_tim I hope you’ll instruct your butler to reply accordingly.
MOT (align headlights) plus whole new reversing light unit, £115 the lot. That could’ve been worse!
@xabl Jesus, no. Bristol buses are the reason I bought a flat close enough to town to *walk* everywhere. Quicker, & far less frustrating.
@xabl Hah! I’m on a Number 1 as well, though I’m guessing in the opposite direction. #mirroruniverse
@pjakobs *only comedy font #correction
@pjakobs Comic Sans will only die when it stops being the only shipped with Windows. Lobby Steve Ballmer :)
@xabl Simonstone *were* the main dealer for mine. :(
@pjakobs If it helps, Comic Sans is alive and well and on the back of every handmade charity t-shirt at every running event everywhere :)
@xabl Cool. (But that doesn’t mean Simonstone, does it? Because they were pretty dreadful when I had to go there…)
RT @simonblackwell: Edward Hardwicke dies - undoubtedly the best Watson: http://bit.ly/k257dt <— Rest in peace, Doctor.
That sinking feeling when five minutes into your long journey, the driver pulls the bus up at a stop, turns the engine off and walks away.
@csoanes @arlinelyons (It’s an official Mini BMW-run scheme, not something dealer-specific, which helps.)
@csoanes Yes, well, I’d have taken that kind of possibility into account if I were buying a Rover :) Don’t think BMW are going anywhere!
@arlinelyons @csoanes Also, Minis come with a fixed price “TLC” service pack transferable to a new owner; my first two services were free :)
@arlinelyons @csoanes Well, some of it goes on nice coffee, friendly staff, a lift back into town and free valeting. I’m okay with that!
seldo Somebody has written a PC emulator in Javascript. You can run linux on it, right in your browser. Mind == blown. http://ljv.me/4Z
@ParkBen Jedward?
@domwakeling Also, compared to the last lot — FIAT — on the whole I prefer paying twice as much for sixteen times the competence.
@domwakeling I only do 3,000 miles a year. Servicing costs are a fair bit less than average for me just because of that. :)
@domwakeling To be fair, I find them pretty good value for money. And they clean the car every time it’s in, which is more than I ever do!
@csoanes They normally ask permission before spending _too_ much of my money :)
@RamonY1970 @FreelanceCynic @Jorence @emmafurious I was 12602. Lardy bloke in a red top :)
Result. The Mini’s already ready to pick up. Not even a BMW garage can have racked up too much of a bill in that short time :)
@reality_cave I’ll pay £17.99 when they start using lenses that make me look thin :)
@goatgirl74 Well, Google thought *Wave* would be hip… :)
Car successfully in for MOT. Later I will be taking my annual bus from the centre to Cribbs Causeway to pick it back up…
@goatgirl74 Much as I like Park Street in many ways, that does seem a tad unlikely. Who’s defining “hip”, here?
@RamonY1970 Yes! Nice to meet you :)
@WL_SRUMSEY_LFC On the other hand, Bristol start line is a mile from my flat, & I signed up for this year :)
@WL_SRUMSEY_LFC Lke the 10K, only longer :) Seriously, though, think I preferred Bath. More residential & 2 laps = less lonely in middle.
Enjoying both today’s _Oatmeal_ ( http://bit.ly/lAmLi1 ) and the source code of the Oatmeal website :)
